Hey fam!
Purpose is a comprehensive term, well I’ll say for the spiritual ones. It can not be over emphasized that everyone has got a unique purpose. For those that discovered their purpose on time KUDOS, for those who have not discovered their own no pressure keep praying in due time you’ll discover yours. For those who don’t have any idea of purpose I pray God opens your spiritual eyes.
The cynosure in this article is for those that have discovered their purpose, and have lost the zeal to continue. I’m reminded of a verse in the scriptures “When He had received the drink, Jesus said, “It is finished”. With that He bowed his head and gave up His spirit”.
From this verse Jesus himself fulfilled his Purpose on earth, He never stopped half way, even to the point of some people plotting to kill Jesus he still never gave up. Jesus showed consistency, strength, zeal, endurance and perseverance and lots of virtues to emulate, not minding so many challenges He faced. His disciples Matthew, Peter, John, James also finished their course while on earth. These are perfect examples for us.
What I’m saying is that some of us discovered our God given Purpose timely either through the help of God, parents, family, God sent friends and so on, but somehow we got weary, exhausted, discouraged, tired, inconsistency sets in, lack of motivation or even life’s challenges sets in and distractions lead you to neglect your God-given purpose here on earth and divides your focus on something else.
For me I believe the greatest accomplishment is knowing that, in whatsoever we do or what ever work we lay our hands upon to do, be it teaching, arts, writing, dancing, acting, drumming, singing and lots more, we should find satisfaction from within, true happiness and fulfilment. That is the more reason why we should not stop our journey to fulfilling purpose mid way, but pursue it till you can boldly say it is finished.
A wise woman once said “There is no paycheck that can equal the feeling of contentment that comes from being the person you’re meant to be .”~ Oprah Winfrey ~
I’m charging my readers to keep fighting on, keep the fire burning, keep moving, keep the focus, keep pushing on, keep thriving, keep the faith, keep marching on, keep believing, above all keep living purposefully, because the race of purpose is not to the swift y’all. Sending you lots of love and light muah!!!
And yes! Merry Christmas and a prosperous new year.
