I will start with this note, the waiting season is a beautiful season *smiles*. Waiting on God is more like trusting in God, amidst being busy with other things till you finally get what you want. There is this anchor scripture – Ecc 3:1 “To everything there is a season and a time to every purpose under the heaven”.
One can trust God for a Job or career, husband or wife, a child, a travel visa, a scholarship, a school of study, an examination and so much more. This period of trusting God is the waiting season.
My question is this, does every human undergo this season?
The anchor scripture says it all – YES. I will say is we all have different “Time” in life, some call it a clock.
As humans during this period of trusting God, we tend to be carried away with so much worries, tensions, thoughts, fear, uncertainties even at times we put ourselves under unnecessary pressure.
There is another scripture verse – Isaiah 40:31 “But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run and not be weary and they shall walk and not faint.”
In as much as we’re expecting a miracle or a blessing, waiting upon God is the best thing to do.
This implies reminding ourselves of God’s unfailing and unshaken promises, alongside continuously seeking the face of God till our Joy is full.
For some people, they get busy on other minor duties or work to pass time.
There is also the need to ask God for the fruit of the Spirit, because as humans we need loads of patience, so that we don’t settle for less than what we’re asking from God.
During this time failures, rejections, disappointment, and a range of other unexpected events might be inevitable. All is a pointer that you are closer to the gold, just hold your head up a little longer and keep waiting upon God’s promises.
Like I said, the waiting season is a beautiful period. Don’t give the devil the chance to rid you of it.
