How to make A Family Budget: Budgeting provides for current needs and surplus fund for the future. It is necessary to make a budget for your family.
Four questions are helpful as you weigh the facts and figures of making your family budget.
a. What do you have as the Take-Home Pay, Gifts, Bonus, Commission, Rental income etc.
b. What are your fixed expenses? This includes House Rent/Mortgage Repayment, Meal, Allowance, Car Maintenance, Insurance, Transportation, Tax, Tithe and Savings.
c. What are your Variables Expenses? This is the Total Monthly Fixed Expenditure minus your Monthly Take-Home Pay.
In a simple equation:
Variable Expenses = Monthly Fixed Expenditure Minus Monthly Take-Home-Pay.
d. How Best can you wisely spend the money left for your variable expenses?
These are the four helpful questions to consider as you weigh the facts and figures of making your family budget.
As you carefully consider and making your plans, don’t forget to allow the Holy Spirit to guide your decision, He has promised to guide us into all truth.
