Hey guys!
As much as we are all conscious of purpose and time, I feel we should be proud of the little things that we do, I mean celebrate your little feats…
A typical scenario: when you feel I’m not where I’m supposed to be, and you allow what is going on around you to get to you, like my colleague bought that dream car, landed that great job, lived in that beautiful house, has a lovely family, super great love life, or even got wedded, and you are wondering if they gave birth to them in a special way different from you Hahaha.
This issue actually stems from the stance where, we make people’s achievement a standard in comparing our individual feats, in this situation we can’t even see our tiny bit of progress. In fact, some may be frustrated, disappointed, have less energy and become more stressed – and worst of all, some give up on themselves in the bid to compare their progress with someone else’s… errmm I’m beginning to feel this message is not just for readers alone, I’m also not left out but then I have never thought about giving up on myself!!! Never.
However, time cannot be over emphasized. It’s just a single life, and for those that understands purpose, the two work interchangeably even the Bible talked about seasons, I repeat don’t be hard on yourself, things will get better you are doing your best, just keep the Faith, celebrate your little feats and believe in yourself, because no one will do that for you if it doesn’t start with you.
A child never starts walking in just a day except through miracles, because I so much believe in miracles lol, she starts with little strides and fall before she finally walks. I charge us with a bible verse that says “Anxiety weighs down the heart, but a kind word cheers it up.”[Proverbs 12:25 NIV], therefore, encourage yourself.
I mean you passed an examination, landed that small-pay job, you started that small business, you represented a cohort, you attended that local conference, you got promoted after a long time, you wrote your first journal, you performed your first surgery with no complications, and lots more progress that seems little and it’s neither seen nor heard; applaud yourself you deserve an accolade lol very soon you’ll raise those wine glasses to greater achievements. Stay blessed!!! And feel free to comment below.
Till next time!
