Hey – happy post Valentine’s Day haha! I really hope you all had some form of love shown to you on Tuesday, and even if for whatever reason, no human being showed you love – God certainly did – word to John 3:16!
Today I want to talk a little about circumstances. Everyone says they change and it’s true, but when you’re in the centre of the sad circle and you can’t even get your stance steady, that’s very hard to believe.
I had a very, very rough year some time ago and at the time it was super easy to delve into a pool of hopelessness which was always ready to overflow and drown me at every given opportunity, but what kept my stance strong even at the peaks of my struggle was knowing my circumstance will change – because I put them in God’s hands.
I learnt that there’s literally no part of my life that He isn’t interested in and when you’ve got the Beginning and the End (Alpha and Omega) on your side and He tells you it’s gonna be alright, there’s a sense of convincing calmness that comes over you. (Yes, as expected, He came through for me).
It’s early in the year and some of us may be battling with one issue or another and it’s so easy to wallow in self pity asking yourself or anyone who’ll listen “why me?” But I am here to tell you to quit the pity party and start looking up. I’ll keep saying this: as long as you have life there is still hope. Don’t give up and don’t give in, keep persevering for what you know is yours.
So you’ve hit rock bottom – why not transform it into a solid foundation?
