ABOUT THE POET
Sijuade Olukayode Luther-Sanusi is a final year medical student of Ladoke Akintola University of Technology, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a poet, writer, compere, voice-over artist, stand-up comedian and the creative Director of Oasis Media, an entertainment outfit. At various times, he was an entertainment writer for EMINENT MAGAZINE and YOUTH VOICE OUT MAGAZINE both in Nigeria. He is a co-founder of LAUMED Journal Club. His poetry theme cuts across love, life and the society we live in. He made the Top 10 list at poetry digest be best BB10 Contest held in 2014. He was among the Top 5 finalists in the Spring Writers poetry contest in December, 2016. Dr. Oasis, as he is known on stage, was raised in Ibadan attending Nickdel Private School, American Quarters, Agodi. His secondary education was at Ise-Oluwa Montessori High School, Agodi GRA, Ibadan and post-secondary preparatory education was at Achievers School, Bodija, Ibadan.
